Pit Stop
Dodgers
The
2005 season brings the Dodgers a nice blend of young and experienced
players. The club has been devastated by
injuries to key personnel and the loss of power hitting Darryl Fuchihara to Duluth of the Northwoods
League have forced our youthful first year players to make an immediate impact
on the team.
Carter Hutton a graduate of
the Mountain Hawk program was the Dodgers first pick in the Spring
draft. Completing their picks the teams selected J. J. Hudolin (Dairy Queen Slam), Drew Ezack
and Corey Jonasson.
Watching these young men
perform the first month of the season, the coaching staff was very impressed
with their effort and skill level.
With starting pitchers Jason Harynuk, Scott Vis and Robin
Jackson on the disabled list, a trade was made obtaining Adam Josefchak from the Itai
Jacks. Adam has made quality starts to
relieve the workload of pitchers Stephen Aleksiejan
and Matt Laakso.
Dodgers were fortunate to see Matt Lesperance
return to
The Dodgers thank President Reg and crew for their ongoing efforts to bring quality
tournaments and championships to the city.
Thank you The Pit Stop for your
valued support.
